肯定文で「いくつかの／いくらかの」を表します。例：I have some questions about the contract.（契約について質問がいくつかあります）／ There are some new employees in our team.（チームに新人が何人かいる）。依頼・勧誘の疑問文 Would you like some 〜? でも使われます。

some と any の違い
基本ルールは「肯定文ならsome、否定文・疑問文ならany」。ただし依頼・勧誘の疑問文ではsomeを使うなど、ニュアンスで例外があります。可算・不可算どちらにも使えます。
